Join us for a Night of Celebration

The Venue

The 2024 National Championships Banquet will be held in the Energy Environment Experiential Learning (EEEL) building, on the University of Calgary campus. EEEL is a state-of-the-art facility, designed for innovation and efficiency. The building brings six science and engineering departments together in one building, but its social spaces are considered the “main event”.

EEEL is one of only 29 buildings across Canada to achieve LEED platinum certification, the highest certification possible for the design and construction of green buildings. Click here to read more about the building design and it’s important function.

Where It’s Located

EEEL is located at the north edge of the campus. It is a 10 minute walk from International House. It is also easily accessible for those driving or using public transit as it is located on 32nd Avenue NW.

The evening is a celebration of our racquetball community across Canada. We will recognize the 2024 National Champions for their outstanding accomplishments. We will also induct the Class of 2024 to the Racquetball Canada Hall of Fame and honour the recipients of Racquetball Canada awards.

Banquet tickets are $40 each and are included in the tournament registration fee for participants. Additional tickets can be purchased for non-tournament participants and guests during the online registration process or by logging back into the registration site if you’ve already registered.

As well, those wishing to purchase additional tickets can contact Mitch Brayley by May 15. Tickets will not be sold after that date.

University District

A 12-minute walk west of the campus, is the newly built University District. It is home to several dining and shopping options that you can check out during the week!

You’ll find a comprehensive list of what’s available at the University District in the “Eat, Drink and Explore” section of this site.
