National Team Coaching

Each year Racquetball Canada’s names National Training Coaches. These coaches are contracted by Racquetball Canada to develop athletes on the National Elite and Development Teams.

International Event Coaches

Racquetball Canada sends teams to compete at international events throughout the world. Coaches are selected for each event separately. Racquetball Canada gratefully acknowledges the contribution and commitment of those who have represented Canada internationally as coaches for the past few years.

Coach Selection Criteria

Each International Travel Team involves a specific selection process for athletes and coaches.  The Coach Selection Matrix is used to select coaches who apply for International Travel Team positions. Racquetball Canada will put out a Call for Coaches for each international event.

Coaches wishing to apply for the Head Coach position must be certified Level 4 coaches or higher. Those wishing to be considered for an Assistant Coach position must be certified NCCP Competition Development coaches or actively working towards Competition Development certification.
