Jennifer Saunders was recognized at the 2000 Nationals banquet for her officiating achievements over the past year. Saunders received her international level II certification last summer, and her national level III certification in the fall of 1999. Saunders refereed matches at the 1999 Pan Am Games in Winnipeg, and was one of the first three women ever to referee racquetball at any Pan Am Games.

Saunders, a member of the National Espoir Team, presently works for Racquetball Manitoba. She was appointed as Chief Referee for the 2000 Junior Canadian Championships in Quebec. She will also be the Canadian referee attending the World Championships in Mexico in August, 2000. Saunders and her partner Julie Neubauer finished second in the National Doubles Monitoring event in February, 2000.

We applaud the contributions that Jennifer is making to our sport!
