International House is well located on the U of C campus close to University Avenue NW which leads to:

• University District where you’ll find more than 30 shops and services;
• 32nd Avenue NW where the Market Mall shopping district is located and
• Crowchild Trail which provides easy access to downtown and Calgary’s diverse neighbourhoods.
• Other major road systems that get you out of the city and into nature quickly.

Retail Main Street in the University District is a 5 minutes walk or 15 minute car ride from International House. Depending upon the time of day it may be as little as 10 minutes using public transit. We have provided walking and driving times and estimated times using public transit for the areas close to campus. The transit system in Calgary is excellent with frequent arrival and departure times especially for bus stops found on campus. University Station on Crowchild Trail is the closest C-Train station to the U of C campus and provides great train and bus connections to the rest of the city.
