WINNIPEG (February 5, 2020) – Racquetball Manitoba is set to host the second National Team Selection event of the 2019/2020 season. The event will run from February 7 to 9 at the University of Winnipeg’s Duckworth Centre and will be held in conjunction with the Keystone Classic.
The National Team Selection event provides elite athletes the opportunity to qualify to represent Canada in international competition this season, including the 2020 Pan Am Championships and World Championships. Fourteen of Canada’s top athletes will be competing at the event.
The Keystone Classic is in its 46th year and is one of the top Canadian tournaments held annually. It provides an excellent competition for life opportunity for those of all ages and skill levels. In total over 50 players are registered for the Selection event and Keystone Classic.
The event is open to the public at no charge and media are welcome. Interviews with athletes can be arranged upon request.
