2018 Canadian Championships

The 2018 Canadian Championships will be hosted at the University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre by Racquetball Manitoba from May 19 to 26, 2018.

Players from across Canada will compete in several age and skill categories in men’s and women’s singles and doubles as well as mixed doubles.

Athletes competing in the open singles and doubles events are also competing for spots on national teams. The Canadian Championships are the final events taken into consideration for the team being selected to represent Canada at the International Racquetball Federation World Championships. Also, results are taken into consideration for Sport Canada Athlete Assistance nominations as well as nominations to Racquetball Canada’s national teams.

Spectator & Media Information

All matches will take place at the Duckworth Centre. The event is open to the public free of charge.

The doubles events will be played on Sunday May 20 and Monday May 21. Event finals and round robin deciding matches will be played in the afternoon and evening of May 21.

Singles events will be played Tuesday, May 22 to Saturday, May 26, with finals and round robin deciding matches taking place on Saturday May 26.

Racquetball Manitoba is hosting a licensed players lounge at the Duckworth Centre, where matches can be watched live-streaming.

Racquetball Canada Awards Banquet

The annual Racquetball Canada Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday May 26 at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.

Racquetball Canada Athlete and Volunteer Awards will be presented at the banquet and Racquetball Canada will honour the 2018 Hall of Fame inductees.
