We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2024 National Championships, set to take place at the University of Calgary Racquet Centre from May 20th to 25th.
The National Championships brings together our community across Canada to celebrate our sport. It’s an occasion to showcase the talent of our elite athletes while providing players of all ages and skill levels with an opportunity to strive for personal excellence on the court.
Along with the Host Committee, we invite both past competitors and newcomers to join us for this year’s championship experience in Calgary. Over the past couple of years, we’ve welcomed back many seasoned players who have been away from the competitive scene for some time. Since the return to sport, our championships have seen growing participation. This year, we hope to surpass that in Calgary.
The Calgary 2024 Host Committee has been working hard to ensure a great competition, coupled with exceptional hospitality. We’re looking forward experiencing all that the Calgary committee has planned.
International Hotel, the host accommodation is right on the University of Calgary campus and is only a three-minute walk from the Racquet Centre. With three affordable lodging options available, make sure to book by April 19th to secure the tournament rate.
Calgary is renowned for its warm hospitality, and the Host Committee’s social calendar is no exception with ample opportunity to connect and celebrate with fellow participants. In addition to the Meet and Greet evening social and the Awards Banquet, the “Players’ Lounge” will be open nightly for some post-match relaxation and camaraderie. And for those seeking leisure beyond the tournament, the nearby University District offers a great selection of shops and restaurants, just a brief 10-minute stroll from the International Hotel.
Conveniently close to downtown, the University of Calgary offers easy access to major attractions within Calgary and is just a stone’s throw away from the breathtaking Rocky Mountains, reachable in under 90 minutes.
