Asher Pocsai entered his first Junior National Championships at just eight years old and has competed in every event since. He earned a place on the Junior National Team in 2019 and has proudly represented Canada at four Junior World Championship events, capturing bronze medals in Boys’ 16U Doubles in 2022 and Boys’ 14U Doubles in 2021.
At the Junior National level, Asher has an impressive record, winning five gold, two silver, and three bronze medals in singles across multiple age groups, including the Boys’ 18U Singles title at the 2026 Junior National Championships. In doubles, he has achieved three gold and one silver medal. In 2024, Asher earned his first selection to the National Development Team, a position he continues to hold.
Pocsai earned his first elite national medal in 2025, winning silver in Men’s Open Doubles with partner Leyton Gouldie at the 2025 National Championships.
