Start in racquetball: I played hockey until I was eight and didn’t want to play that anymore. My parents wanted me to choose another sport and recommended racquetball as they know Jen Saunders.
Reason for playing: Racquetball has a great community. It’s a fun sport to play at any level and the community always makes me want to go back.
Training habits: I play baseball and racquetball competitively, so I try to make the most out of my baseball training and apply it to racquetball.
Best racquetball memory: Being at Worlds for the first time!
Non-racquetball talents: My ability to connect with kids.
If I’m not playing racquetball: playing baseball!
\A fact about me that most people don’t know: That I play racquetball! And that I’m fluent in French.
My advice for other athletes: Try and enjoy the game – no matter how bad a game is going or how you’re feeling. Being frustrated or down doesn’t make the game fun. Just smile.
Who has been important in my development? Evan Pritchard got me started in racquetball and Terry Nelson helped get me where I am now.
