The Men’s Open Singles final will not be played at the Calgary 2024 National Championships. The following is a statement from Coby Iwaasa who was to have faced Samuel Murray in Saturday’s championship final.
“I regret that I am unable to fully compete at the Calgary 2024 National Championships due to scheduling conflicts with the tournament and my Chiropractic Board Exam. Efforts were made to accommodate this situation but ultimately were unsuccessful. I was very excited and eager to compete in the Men’s Singles Open Championship final and renew my rivalry with Sam Murray, my esteemed opponent and teammate. I was also looking forward to defending our Men’s Open Doubles title with my friend, Kurtis Cullen. Special thanks to Mitch Brayley and Alberta Racquetball Association for their unwavering support in my quest to be the best. Stay tuned as ‘the best is yet to come’”.
Racquetball Canada would like to congratulate Samuel Murray on winning his 6th consecutive Men’s Open Singles Championship Title.
