Coach the Coaches!
Racquetball Canada is looking for coaches who would like to pursue a new leadership role as a NCCP Coach Developer in the following contexts:
- Community Sport Learning Facilitator
- Competition Introduction Learning Facilitator
- Competition Introduction Coach Evaluator
- Competition Development Learning Facilitator
- Competition Development Coach Evaluator
Those selected must have taken or be committed to taking the following training:
- NCCP Safe Sport Training
- NCCP Make Ethical Decisions
- Core training for Learning Facilitators or core training for Coach Evaluators
- Racquetball Canada Content Training
- Co-facilitate a workshop with a trained Coach
- Sign the Coach Developer Code of Conduct
Core training provides a general knowledge while Content-specific training allows candidates to become familiar with workshop materials and delivery of content for either multi-sport or sport-specific workshops. Co-facilitating provides an opportunity for candidates to work with an experienced coach developer in delivering a course. And a successful evaluation of a candidate’s independent delivery will lead to certification.
