As a program signatory Racquetball Canada is an active player in this movement.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the previous approach, where each national sport organization created its own system for dealing with complaints of maltreatment, this is a centralized \u201cone-stop-shop.\u201d It is independent and led by experts in their fields, using education and research to prevent maltreatment at all levels of sport.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sportintegritycommissioner.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Office of the Sport Integrity Commissioner <\/strong><\/a><strong>(OSIC) <\/strong>serves as the central hub. It operates independently to administer complaints about alleged violations of the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.us-east-1.wasabisys.com\/racquetball-canada\/2022\/06\/UCCMS-6.0-FINAL-20220531.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport<\/a> (UCCMS) <\/strong>by individuals designated by Racquetball Canada as UCCMS Participants.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Where there are admissible allegations of abuse, harassment or discrimination, the OSIC conducts independent investigations and recommends sanctions against individuals who violate the UCCMS.<\/p>\n<p>OSIC will also maintain a national sanctions registry, which prevents individuals from evading sanctions by moving to different sports or to different jurisdictions.<\/p>\n<p>OSIC provides access to a wide range of resources, including victim services and referrals to specialized mental health professionals and experienced lawyers \u2013 all of it available in English and French.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element <strong><em>UCCMS<\/em><\/strong> against a <em><strong>UCCMS Participant<\/strong><\/em> must be reported to the <em><strong>Office of the Sport Integrity Commission (OSIC).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Racquetball Canada <strong><em>UCCMS Participants<\/em><\/strong> include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Board of Directors and Standing Committees<\/li>\n<li>Operational Committee Chair and members of the Athlete Development Committee, High Performance Committee and the Sport Development Committee<\/li>\n<li>Provincial Representatives<\/li>\n<li>Racquetball Canada Staff and Contractors (Therapists, IST, Team Managers, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>National Team Training Coaches and International Team Coaches<\/li>\n<li>Contracted Officials at National events<\/li>\n<li>National Team Athletes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
