Canadian Sport Helpline<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Canadian Sport HELPline<\/strong><\/em><\/a> is a national toll-free helpline offering assistance to victims or witnesses of harassment, abuse or discrimination in sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offered in partnership by the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada (SDRCC) and the Canadian Centre for Mental Health in Sport (CCMHS), this anonymous, confidential, independent service allows people to share and validate their concerns, obtain guidance on required next steps, and get referrals to other resources for follow up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Canadian Sport HELPline provides professional listening and referral services by phone and text at 1-888-83-SPORT (77678)<\/strong> and by email at info@abuse-free-sport.ca<\/strong><\/a>,<\/strong> from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, seven days a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sport\u2019Aide (Qu\u00e9bec)<\/em><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sport\u2019Aide is an independent non-profit organization which offers guidance, support and orientation services for young athletes, but also to the various players in the sporting world (parents, coaches, sport organizations, officials and volunteers) who have witnessed violence against young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manitoba Sport Support Line<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sport Manitoba takes its commitment to athlete safety very seriously and has established a Sport Support Line managed 365 days of the year to ensure community members participating in sport have an appropriate outlet to report abuse. In Manitoba the law requires that anyone who suspects a child may be in danger must report their concerns. The Support Line can assist you in making that report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Respect Sport Line (Saskatchewan)<\/em><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Respect Resource Line (including E-Support service) provides information, bilingual support, resources and referrals for sport in Saskatchewan regarding possible bullying, abuse, harassment, discrimination or hazing. This confidential and anonymous resource, operating 365 days of the year from 9 am to 9 pm, is intended to assist callers in determining the most appropriate course of action to take. The Respect Resource Line staff is qualified to handle calls regarding child and youth maltreatment (national\/provincial child and youth protection laws) and organization-specific risk management and dispute resolution models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safe Sport Officer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Racquetball Canada has partnered with W&W Dispute Resolution Services Inc to serve as Racquetball Canada\u2019s Independent Safe Sport Officer. <\/strong>Experienced in discipline and harassment matters, Racquetball Canada\u2019s Safe Sport Officer provides confidential, expert and objective facilitation of complaints and is an essential part of Racquetball Canada\u2019s commitment to Canada\u2019s Safe Sport Movement<\/a><\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any person can contact the Independent Safe Sport Officer to report or discuss incidents of abuse or harassment of any kind. The officer is an independent third party who will guide you through the complaints process and\/or explore other options. As well, the Independent Safe Sport Officer is empowered to launch appropriate policies as required based on evidence or a situation reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Should any complaint or concern come to the attention to any Racquetball Canada official it will be forwarded to our Safe Sport Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
