Racquetball Canada strives to make ethical decisions and to behave in a manner that reflects its values. There is an expectation, at all times, of appropriate behaviour consistent with Racquetball Canada\u2019s core values<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ethics in sport is a major component of the Safe Sport and the Responsible Coaching Movement<\/a><\/strong>. Ethics training prepares those involved in sport to effectively handle situations that arise from ethical dilemmas or even legal challenges that concern individuals, teams, and their sports organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ethics training for coaches includes the Coaching Association of Canada\u2019s Safe<\/em> Sport Training<\/strong><\/em>, and the NCCP <\/strong>M<\/em>ake Ethical Decisions<\/strong><\/em> and NCCP E<\/strong>MPOWER+<\/em> <\/strong>modules within the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Training in the prevention of bullying, abuse, harassment and discrimination is offered through the Respect in Sport Activity Leader Program<\/em><\/strong>for sport leaders, coaches, officials and participants 14 years and up. Respect in Sport also has programs specifically for parents and for the workplace environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Creating a culture where everyone can thrive is a shared responsibility. The Coaching Association of Canada (CAC)\u2019s Safe<\/em> Sport Training<\/strong><\/em><\/a> was developed to help anyone involved in sport \u2014 whether you have direct contact with athletes or work in the background \u2014 to promote physical, psychological, social and spiritual health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport calls for all sporting environments to be free from physical, sexual and psychological abuse. The Safe Sport Training module aligns with those values.
