The nomination deadline is February 15, 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025 we updated our awards program to include exciting new awards including the Innovation Award, Provincial Award, and Awards of Excellence to expand our recognition across different levels of impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Awards at a Glance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ivan Velan Award \u2013 Recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to racquetball at the national or international level as a builder, official, coach, or player.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>President&#8217;s Award \u2013 Honours individuals or groups whose outstanding contributions have significantly advanced Racquetball Canada\u2019s mission and objectives over the past two years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovation Award \u2013 Celebrates an organization, coach, or sport leader whose leadership, creativity, and innovation have made a lasting impact on racquetball at the community, provincial, or national level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Susan Livingston Award \u2013 Recognizes an individual who has inspired, empowered, and motivated girls and women to engage in racquetball at the community, provincial, or national level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marc Caouette Award \u2013 Recognizes a coach who has made a significant impact on youth (21U) racquetball programs at the community, provincial, or national level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heather Stupp Award \u2013 Presented to a junior female athlete at the National Championships who demonstrates excellence and sportsmanship on and off the court.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sherman Greenfeld Award \u2013 Presented to a junior male athlete at the National Championships who demonstrates excellence and sportsmanship on and off the court.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Awards of Excellence \u2013 Honours national team athletes and their coaches for achieving podium results in international competitions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provincial Award \u2013 Recognizes one sport leader, coach, or organization per province for exceptional contributions at the provincial or community level. Recipients are determined annually at the provincial level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Nominate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Each award has it&#8217;s own nomination form based on the criteria for the award. The deadline for nomination is February 15, 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Racquetball Canada Hall of Fame was established to honour those involved with the sport of racquetball who have distinguished themselves as being an exceptional athlete or member of an exceptional team or a person who has made a significant contribution as a builder of sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inductees can become honoured members of the Hall of Fame in one of two categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the Athlete Category for outstanding achievements as an individual or a team;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the Builder Category for outstanding contribution to the sport as a leader, administrator, official, coach, business leader, media or in other roles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Nominate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Nominations can be submitted anytime before February 15, 2026 using the appropriate Hall of Fame Nomination Form (athlete or builder).
