WINNIPEG<\/strong> (April 7, 2025) \u2013 Racquetball Canada\u2019s national team is set to arrive in Guatemala City this week for the 2025 Pan American Championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Eight athletes from Qu\u00e9bec, Manitoba, and Ontario will represent Canada at the prestigious tournament, which is held annually. Leading the team are veteran athletes Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Lambert (Montr\u00e9al, QC) and Samuel Murray (Baie-Comeau, QC), who bring a combined total of 38 appearances at International Racquetball Federation (IRF) events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019m very happy to be representing Canada again at this tournament. It\u2019s been a while since I have played at a Pan American Championships \u2013 I think the last one was in 2016,\u201d said Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Lambert. \u201cI\u2019m excited to fight for a win in singles and to play mixed doubles with Samuel Murray.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lambert and Murray will be joined by seasoned competitors Kurtis Cullen (Brandon, MB), Juliette Parent (Saint-Jacques, QC), and Trevor Webb (Kitchener, ON). Making their first appearances at the elite international level are Leyton Gouldie (Brandon, MB), Chlo\u00e9 Jauvin (Terrebonne, QC), and Ofelia Wilscam (Repentigny, QC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n To learn more about each athlete, including their competitive highlights, visit our click on the athlete\u2019s name in the following biography section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With the next Pan American Games just two years away, the results from this tournament play an important role in Canada\u2019s path to qualifying teams for the 2027 Games in Lima, Peru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Pan American Championships will be streamed on the Pan Am Sports Channel, as well as the IRF YouTube Channel and Facebook Page.
