Congratulations to Frédérique Lambert, who won two Open national titles at the Pickleball Canada National Championship held this past weekend In Kingston.

Lambert, who recently won both the Women’s Open Singles and Doubles titles at Racquetball Canada’s National Championships, finished in top spot in Women’s Open Doubles with partner Kim Brent and the Mixed Open Doubles event with Ernesto Fajardo. She also won two age divisions in Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles in the 4.0+ skill category with the same partners, sweeping all four divisions in which she played. With these titles, Lambert has become a multi-sport national champion.

Lambert will be shifting her focus back to racquetball with the upcoming National Team Training Camp in July. This will be a key part of her preparations for the World Championships being held in Mexico in August. Lambert’s experience, proven ability to win and leadership will be a great asset to Team Canada.

Lambert has been playing pickleball as a fun way to cross-train for racquetball over the past couple of years. She played in her first pickleball national championships in 2021.
