WINNIPEG<\/strong> (September 5, 2025) \u2013 Racquetball Canada is proud to announce the athletes selected to the 2025 National Elite and Development Teams for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

All team members have proudly represented Canada in international competition, either as elite or junior athletes. Canada is fortunate to have a group of athletes who are deeply committed to the national team program and to representing the country on the world stage.<\/p>\n

Many of the athletes named to the Elite National Team are returning members who bring extensive experience and strong results. This includes several long-time members who are repeat national champions and athletes with podium finishes at the international level, highlighted by results at the World Championships and the Pan Am Games.<\/p>\n

The Development Team is made up of both veteran and emerging athletes who have already proven themselves at the national level and continue to build their experience and podium results in international play.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0I feel fortunate to work with such a strong and dedicated group of athletes named to this year\u2019s Elite and Development Teams. It\u2019s always exciting to work together in preparing for international competition, with the 2026 World Championships as a major highlight on the horizon. I\u2019m also very grateful for the support network of our coaches, Integrated Service Team, families and parents, whose commitment makes our team even stronger.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Being part of the national team for so many years has been a privilege and a source of pride. Every season brings its own challenges, and I\u2019m ready to see what the next one has in store for me. I\u2019m proud of the journey so far, but I know I can still deliver a few more great results for Racquetball Canada.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Selections were based on results from two National Team Selection Events held earlier this season, along with performances at the 2025 National Championships in May.<\/p>\n

Athletes named to the National Teams receive financial support from Racquetball Canada, made possible through funding provided by Sport Canada. In addition, announcements regarding athletes who will receive carding support through Sport Canada\u2019s Athlete Assistance Program will be made this fall.<\/p>\n
